a)Payment conditions:
Caritas Arua Diocese shall not pay you for Volunteering and all the expense connected with, including travel and related costs shall be borne by the volunteer or sponsoring organization.
b) That there is no exppectation of employment with Caritas Arua Diocese at the end of my of volunteering.
c) Caritas Arua Diocese accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incured during this Vplunteering. The Volunteer shall provide the following information about her or him:
A doctors certificate stating that he or she is in good health, fit to travel and have received all the vaccinations required for residence at the duty station, or, a declaration signed by him or her stating that that he or she is in a good health.
Proof that she or he is fully covered by medical insurance plan valid for the period of his or her period of his or her Volunteering which also covers medical evacuation from the internship duty station.
d) For International Volunteers;
They will be responsible for obtaining necessary visas relating to their volunteering. Caritas Arua Diocese shall only support the Visa process, should you encounter difficulities in making the arrangements or when this is required by the authorities concerned. it is further understood that upon your arrival at Caritas Arua Diocese, you will be provided with an internal attestation for use with outside authorities.
Code of Conduct:
You shall conduct yourself at all times in a manner compatible with responsibilities as Caritas Arua Diocese volunteer. This includes being familiar with the Caritas Arua Diocese code of conduct.
To keep confidential any and all unpublished information made known to you by Caritas Arua Diocese during the course of volunteering and not to publish any reports or paper on the basis of information obtained during Volunteering, except with the prior authorisation of Caritas Arua Diocese.
To provide written notice incase of all illness, absence or other unavoidable circumstances which might prevent the volunteer from participating in or completing the Volunteering.
To provide address at the duty station to Caritas Arua Diocese as well as the name and address of the person to be contacted incase of emmergency.
At the end of Volunteering, you as volunteer will submit a report on the activities and will return all the items in you possession belonging to Caritas Arua Diocese.
Objectives and tasks of Volunteering
The purpose of the Volunteering is to provide the student with experience of the practical application of theoretical kwoledge he or she has already acquired and to acqure new skills and knowledge. Caritas Arua Diocese as the host organisation together with the educational insititution shall ensure that the student-trainee is given tasks and responsibilities according to the level of competence of the student and the educational objectives for the training.
Educational Objectives:
Skills and knowledge to be acquired, shall be defined by the Supervisor.
Tasks of the student-trainee:
Resposibilities in order to meet these objectives defined by the on-site Supervisor in consultation with the Educatonal Supervisor
Supervission and Evaluation
The educational institution shall assign an eduacational Supervisor responsible for the student's internship and Caritas Arua Diocese shall name an on-site supervisor. If any problems arise, the on-site supervisor contact the Educational Supervisor
At the end of Volunteering, the educational insititute requires a report from the student-trainee, the detailed requirements for this report shall be available to the student before the internsjip begins.Caritas Arua Diocese shall be presented a copy of this report.
Caritas Arua Diocese shall provide the student-trainee with the evaluation of his or her internship as well as a written confirmation that the scheduled program has been undertaken and completed.
