What we Do
Our Service
Millions of people in the Diocese of Arua and the Refugees from DRC and South Suda live in difficult circumstances due to injustice, violence and disasters. Caritas Arua Diocese helps, Together with other organisations, government and the population itself, we work towards a liveable future and a dignified existence for everyone.
How Do we Support the Refugees and Host Communities
We value the refugee support network of schools, community centres, faith groups, grassroots movements, and social service organizations.
Food Security
Hunger follws the refugees where they are settling, Caritas Arua Diocese Provides Agricultural Inputs, seedlings so that the refugees realise the importance of planting their own food
Provision of Shelter
The refugees equally need a good shelter or houses for them to leave in, Caritas Arua Diocese has taken this up to by providing the necessary materials like Carpets etc.
Provision of Scholastic Materials
These materials are provided to support the education of refugee children like books, pens, exercise books, and chalk, as well as school uniforms, furniture, and learning aids like charts and toys for early childhood centers.
Agricultural Training by Agronimst
Agricultural training equips individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for modern farming through various methods, including classroom sessions, field demonstrations, and hands-on practice.
